Funny that if I dressed up like I did in 2003 in 2022, I would look out of style and sad. Now if I dressed up like I did in 2003 today, I would look like Im in style and sad. I now know what my parents felt when bell bottom jeans came back for a bit around in the late 90’s.
Five years ago, when a Seattle burger chain raised employee wages & benefits the Reicht wing lost their minds, screaming the result would be $20 burgers & the company would end in bankruptcy. Today, the chain is even more popular than ever. Never let them try to tell you a living wage can’t work.
