This all stemming around the same time Monolith South started being integrated into the greater Nintendo game production pipeline honestly makes me think it's all been influenced by Xenoblade... lol Both Xenoblade 3 and Tears of the Kingdom both using Ouroboros symbolism can't be a coincidence.
Not the point of the post, but I find it very interesting how Nintendo’s fantasy franchises now implement a level of sci-fi into their worlds.

I will admit I'm not really into Fire Emblem, but it is refreshing to see a Japanese game whose main cast is full of dark colored people. Plus, the change of setting into something less Eurocentric is the freshest that franchise has been in fucking forever.
