And somehow some people seem to be upset that I declined the job offer.. with some speculations about me.. man... you folks have too much free time. It is good that I declined the offer promptly within a few weeks so that the uni can re-advertise or offer the job to other folks...

a few things. Started working at an industry lab to work on condensed matter theory with AI. It feels so surreal to have so much resources to work on interesting problems. This feels like a theorist's dream job. Also, the salary is much greater than what academia offers. so good for family
