Some pics expanding on how X keeps grub Vile fed. Instead of milk, X produces sap! His body makes a lot of it too, which is good since Vile is a very hungry and energetic grub. He'll squeak and nibble at X whenever he wants to nurse, latching on eagerly to his breast to get his fill of tasty sap.
Vile as a baby grub! I'll probably rework the design a bit more, particularly the colors. I'm considering making him more of a bagworm too, since I've drawn him as that before. But either way, X finds Vile a lot more tolerable (and cute) in this state.
Been learning more about an artist/writer called Henry Darger. Very interesting works... But also a very sad and rough life...

Spent all day gardening and was very happy to find mantis oothecae everywhere. I'm hoping this means we'll have lots of baby mantises again next year like we did this year... They're so cute and feisty...

I wish I knew of more sites I felt comfortable posting my art to. I've become less fond of Bluesky over time. I'm glad Ao3 is around for fics at least. It's the only site I really trust anymore when it comes to sharing creative works. I hope one day they can add image hosting...
Something I really love is when a baby sea otter is almost full grown, but the mother continues to haul it around and carry it on her belly. I think it's very funny and cute, especially when the baby is nearly the same size as her... Giant baby... #r4m00

They've become my main source of income to buy/construct things. The entire economy of my island hinges on spoiling Vile... #r4m00

Watching videos on robber flies and they are scary!! Some can get 1-2 inches big, and they'll even hunt down wasps for food. Certainly a fitting bug for Zero, especially with the dagger-like mouth. Piercing through prey just like his sword... I like how one species is called cannibalfly... #r4m00

I think it would be funny if the reason Zero gets along with arthropod reploids so well is because Wily used the fly bra¡n as the base for his AI when originally building him. He is unknowingly a tiny fly in the body of an alluring killing machine. X wants to make out with a fly... #r4m00
Friend and I discovered there's a multiplayer mod for Fear and Hunger. We got it set up and it's been very fun. I think it's my new fav way to play it, although it does mean more mouths to feed... #r4m00
