Incredible nonsense from John Cornyn. True, the harm to Epstein’s victims can’t be remedied by a “no” vote. But why should Blanche’s corrupt cover-up of the Epstein files—in violation of a Congressional mandate(!)—be rewarded by “yes”? Can’t get any more craven than this.

Two senators on their way out the door. Nothing left to lose. Total leverage. And they traded it for a memo. A piece of paper. Cornyn and Tillis folded like lawn chairs, and everybody knew they would. Again.
As his power wanes further, he will get more and more erratic. If the midterms go as poorly for him as expected, and especially if Republicans lose the Senate, expect his irrationality to hit full tilt.

If your favorite dem doesn't win their primary, you still gotta vote for the lesser dem to get the majority. It'll take a few cycles to get the dem donor class all the way out. You most certainly don't want to sit elections out, otherwise republicans win and they pack the court
