Went and saw #CoyotevsAcme today. It was pretty funny, definitely worth seeing, especially in the modern flood of "meh" out there most of the time. It should have been fully 2D animation like Roger Rabbit or Space Jam, but otherwise it was well done.

I actually just saw someone on the internet claim that "it's a good thing using all six Infinity Gems hurts the user in the MCU. If it didn't, like in the comics, they would be too overpowered". Being "Too OP" was literally THE point of having all six Gems. It made you God. 🫥

This is hilarious and I dearly hope it's true.

I don't know who needs to hear this, but old movies (90s and earlier especially), do NOT look good on newer, HD/4K televisions. In fact, I've found 80s and 90s movies especially, often look flat out bad at those high resolutions.

Something a lot of people don't seem to understand, is that AI is incapable of "creating" anything. It has no imagination. No genius. No creative spark or inspiration. It cannot conceive. It cannot craft. It can only regurgitate elements of what humans have already done. Cheap facsimile. Period.

Back in the 80s and 90s, anywhere from somewhat decent to even occasionally great movies were coming out, like every few weeks. It was a wild time that we did not appreciate when it was happening. We exist in a god forsaken wasteland, by comparison.
