Getting real sick of slop midwives pleading for a 'respectful discussion' of AI as relates to the arts. Your use of AI to 'make art' is not respectful. It benefits from stolen art, destroys the planet, and does not make you an artist any more than someone driving 26.2 miles is a marathoner.

Update: Google just sent me a statement saying it is “rolling back” this AI feature that let anyone make completely bullshit satellite images. Comes after our demos of the tool and those from OSINT researchers. One of the worst AI tools I’ve ever seen bsky.app/profile/jose...

New from 404 Media: Google Earth has introduced an AI feature that lets anyone fabricate completely bullshit satellite images. In our own tests, we added a “bomb blast and crater” to an area of Los Angeles. This is a misinformation time bomb, will 100% be abused www.404media.co/google-earth...

I can think of two from Brynteg in the 90s. The lesser was a history teacher & deputy head, whose name I can't remember, that left his wife & married an ex pupil who was younger than his sons. The bad one was Mr Halley, art, who committed suicide while under investigation for actual kiddy fiddling

Middle of the night & I can smell burning. Been out for a look around & can't see anything. Air's so still I can't use the wind to figure out what direction it's coming from. Maybe kids have set a bin on fire in Caedelyn, maybe there's a grass fire on the Wenallt or Garth, dunno. My street's ok tho
