Hey all, looks like my case got accepted by Mayo Clinic and I'll be heading out to see them soon. The stomach stuff ended up being so much more systemic than anyone thought, I Just don't want a repeat of the past 3 years

I know medical professionals have their own fields of expertise but it's crazy how quick they drop a lead the nanosecond it wanders out of their domain and it turns into "ask mom, ask dad" where I got two specialists fighting over who's responsible for some of my worst symptoms

I'm sending an email to a couple of my doctors like "I respect a doctor who has the introspection to recognize they're ill equipped to handle my case and recuse themself from it" or is that too spicy

I was prescribed an injector for my auto immune disease to help with my stomach and oh my god I'm such a baby when it comes to auto injectors apparently I'm 100% fine with needles but something about an auto injector pen gets in my head for whatever reason

I'm definitely not done with the blue razz look huh

I guess the one benefit of losing over a 1/3 of your body weight in about a year is that you can keep the AC at a higher temp 🙃
