Just ordered your book “Timor Mortis”. My husband died at home. We had 5 people basically living with us. He was a Buddhist and we had readings from buddhist texts. We created a sacred space for him and kept him home 3 days after his passing. Death can be a hard chew

The assisted dying bill will now not become law - at least in this parliamentary session. Rather than being voted down, the bill ran out of time which means we still don't have parliamentary judgement on assisted dying Supporters have suggested bringing the bill back - but what does this mean? 👇

Mr. Trump, seemingly emboldened by the successful U.S. rescue of an American airman in Iran over the weekend, issued a new ultimatum to Iran to end its chokehold over the Strait of Hormuz, a major Persian Gulf waterway for the transport of oil and gas, by Apr. 6. The NHS desperately needs them. The doctors in the pipeline need them too (as otherwise many will leave). Performative stupidity. And with applications open in a few weeks, this could be hugely disruptive at a time when we are about to be hit by shortages of fuel, helium etc.
