With the Supreme Court’s recent ruling upholding that states can legally exclude transgender athletes from women’s and girls’ sports teams, we figured it would be a good time to remind everyone that trans people belong everywhere and anywhere they want to be—including in sports. 🧵

Out of the 3,743 unique titles banned last year, a recent PEN America report found: ▪︎ 44% of titles featured BIPOC people/characters ▪︎ 39% of titles featured LGBTQIA+ people/characters ▪︎ 10% of titles featured neurodivergent and disabled people/characters
