But Eli, what’s the point of configuring DNS through an atproto repo? What’s the advantage? Instant websites. Wanna set a Leaflet custom URL like blog.stream.place? That’s one click. No logging in to your registrar. No obnoxious, obnoxious-to-copy-paste TXT record. One click boom done.

Eli Mallon@iame.li · 10mo agolegitimately good idea. only downside i can think of is enumerability — once in a while it's useful to have secret subdomains. but that's rare. the further i go down this rabbit hole, it's like. "if the data is public anyway, why is it not stored in an atproto repository?"
