Metro Boston's public bike share co-owned and managed by the participating municipalities and sponsored by Blue Cross Blue Shield of Massachusetts.

#PrideMonth is here and Proud Bikes are back 🌈🚲 For every ride taken on a Proud Bike this June, title sponsor Blue Cross MA will donate $1 to Fenway Health (up to $10K), with Lyft continuing $1 donations after that milestone, up to another $10K. Ride with Pride and share your “why.” #WhyIBikeBlue

Snow happens... but blizzards mean business. 🏔️ To keep everyone safe, Bluebikes will shut down at 12 AM tonight. We plan to reopen tentatively on Wednesday. If you’re out now, get where you’re going and hunker down! ☕️🏠

❄️ We took to the snow to reveal our 2025 ride total…Can you guess how many rides Bluebikes had last year? 🤔 Answer: 4,614,313 rides! 🎉 That’s 12,642 rides per day. Thank you to everyone who chose Bluebikes to get around, stay active, and explore our communities. We appreciate you! 💯🌞 #bikeshare

Patrick!! WOW. I’m not sure how we missed this incredible accomplishment with such a detailed post about your side quest reaching every Bluebikes station. We’re blown away! 🏆CONGRATULATIONS!! 🎊 💯 Hoping we can share this wider to inspire others. 🚲 What’s your new quest for 2026?

With a visit to Salem this weekend, I finished my quest to visit every @ridebluebikes.bsky.social station in the entire network. 💯 All 594 stations checked off! From Dorchester to Arlington to Revere, I've docked everywhere. 🚲✓

Winter riding doesn’t have to mean busy streets. The Minuteman Trail near Spy Pond stays clear most of the season, giving you miles of peaceful riding away from traffic. Catch a sunset, fresh air, & remember why you love your bike…even in January. 📍 Multiple stations 🚴 10+ miles of car-free riding

🚲 Station Alert (Downtown Crossing): Tremont St at Hamilton Pl is temporarily offline Jan 9–11 and will be back online Jan 12. Need to dock nearby? Use Tremont St at Park St (Park Street T stop) ~400 ft away. Thanks for your patience through this temporary inconvenience. 💙 #Bluebikes #BikeCommute
