Dropped my car off for an estimate and it's almost assuredly the CV Joint and possibly some exhaust issues. I wish we had good public transit here. Our bus stops don't even have benches, and many are in dangerous places. I miss DC's metro. Being able to be car free would be amazing.

TW: violence Apparently the video footage of The Attack is too low quality to show anything or use in court, so I won't be pursuing anything with the DA's office Housing police chief saw footage I have from Monday night where the neighbor throws his gf across the deck, so now the chief says he...

To clarify (bc of my last post), if we are friends and you have something nice to say about me or my pics I am receptive to being complimented! I am open to tasteful flirting with mutuals. I like feeling good about myself. I like making others feel the same! Still might change my profile pic.

Have never spoken to this guy before in my life. He essentially used my post about a traumatic situation to catcall me. Hiding behind all those labels doesn't keep ppl like this from simply being creeps.

A past post from Rieve talking about their violent neighbor followed by a response from user cantankerous55.bsky.social saying, "Maybe a cop? A testosterone laden neighbor or family member? btw: I love your cleavage!"the profile of cantankerous55.bsky.social

tw: violence Just got new video of the neighbor who attacked me slamming his girlfriend on the floor of their balcony. He's not going to stop until someone makes him stop. Hopefully I can pass the video to a person with that power.

Bluesky often seems like a project run by tech people who place great value on its architectural differences from Twitter, which nobody cares about, while not understanding how they walked ass-backwards into having a userbase (whomst they fear and despise)

I guess I did something right by emailing the chairperson of the housing board as the police chief texted me this evening, very cordially, wanting to sit down and talk about everything that has happened. Will it fix anything? Idk. But I needed a bit of hope.

I sent the housing mgr the official complaint form she asked for about the attack along w/any pics/vids I had. She says she'll pull the security video footage but she also says she can't keep the neighbor's gf from moving in so... I BCC'd the chairman of the housing board.

Also the ceiling is leaking water (I hope it's clean water, or rain water, and not waste water). Called the emergency maintenance line an hour and a half ago. You think they'd at least want to call back and ask how much it's leaking, but so far... crickets.

Bad news: I remain a mystery to the allergist Good news: I can start taking my allergy meds again, as well as MCAS meds; and the doctor genuinely believes something is going on allergy-wise (yay they believe me!)

I felt calm this morning but I'm at my appointment and the anxiety is pouring out of me like Niagara Falls. Every time I talk to anyone I feel panic. Not helpful at a medical appointment, but at least at this clinic it's been met with understanding. So yeah. My BP is 150/89.

People who ignore "mask required" signs in the pulmonary/allergy department and sit in the waiting room sneezing and coughing and obviously sick kinda piss me off.

Every time I have the intrusive anxiety about the neighbor situation I am trying to redirect my brain to something lovely or more interesting or simply distracting. Please share with me one of your favourite things that could help! (Animal pics, nature pics, anecdotes, fun facts, poetry, etc).
