49/53… I didn’t feel good, but managed to ink more than I thought. Yeah, I added one more page to give some air to a scene that has been bugging me since I drafted the story. That scene has been quite tricky, no wonder that’s the last thing left to ink (in addition to the comic cover).

45/52 pages inked!! My comic folder looks so satisfying already with so many inked pages! This weekend I worked on some pages I have been procrastinating on. Not only lots of backgrounds containing buildings, but also boats! Nobody told me that when drawing a comic I would be drawing boats…🫠

One of the most important skills you can learn as a young artist is how to disregard critiques from people whose opinions about how you draw don’t really help you.

When I say that you have to be leery of who critiques your art, your life will depend on it. The wrong person giving you critique will have you fighting with your own creativity, leaving you mentally unwell. Especially if you don't have enough people around you encouraging your art

Please remember that it's us that moves posts around on Bluesky, there's not a central algorithm like Twitter or Tumblr or Instagram. If you like art, repost art! Leave comment on art! Even if it's just emotes, it means the world to every artist.

36/52… such a productive weekend!!! I should soon decide what I want to do with grays… just plain grays or screentones… but I am scared of screentones, how can I know how they act when resizing or printing?? You know, the thing when dots overlap weirdly? I have to do some research before deciding…🫠
