I tend to stick to using neutral pronouns when context allows. Proshippers DNI

Real talk, my introduction to Nirvana properly (Smells like Teen Spirit was on a burnt CD my parents had but I never looked into it) was the Motorstorm demo, which was likewise my introduction to Pendulum, as “Breed“ and “Slam” were, iirc, the only songs in it.

in 2027, some 13-year-old is going to learn about a band called "Nirvana" for the first time thanks to this yuri anime and I think that's beautiful

This was the main week of impact for the album, and while this didn't lead to continued/new charting on the Hot 100 (it gets harder with each week of the Christmas wave), various tracks from the album got stronger. Overall a strong week for Hellaverse content again!

The full chart isn't out yet, but as announced in this week's top 10 article, the Hazbin Hotel Season 2 soundtrack is the #8 album in the US this week! This was the album's first full week of tracking (Fri.-Thu.). 46k Units (+250%) 32k Stream Units [#8] 13.5k Sales [#8] 0.5k Track Sale Units

This ended up being quite the banner week for the Hellaverse on the Billboard charts, including the final catching of the longstanding white whale: a song made it to the flagship Hot 100!

@samhaft.com Gravity made quite the splash on Billboard charts in its debut frame! #4 Bubbling Under Hot 100 #23 Digital Song Sales #15 Hot Rock/Alternative Songs #12 Hot Rock Songs #80 Canadian Hot 100 I can feel it, by the time the season is fully out, at least 1 song will make the US Hot 100!

Just finished the movie: I quite liked it, cinematography was solid throughout and the choreo and staging was neat! Calling it though, the Acoustic Collection being appended to the main movie will get called out on the podcast for repeating 2 performances.

So, I just began prepping (quite belatedly) my April video and on the very first search needed... It's like the universe really wants me to be fully ready for @tonygoldmark.bsky.social's next episode of @vaultdisneypod.bsky.social!

A search on YouTube for the song "Decade" by Vocaloid producer Dixie Flatline. Above a result providing exactly what was requested, a sponsored link is shown called "Taylor Swift | The Eras Tour (Taylor's Version) | Now streaming only on Disney+".

Saw The Day The Earth Blew Up this weekend, had a wonderful time! There were several laugh-out-loud moments that both fortunately but also sadly didn't disturb anyone since I was the only one at the showing, but hey, at least the film's on track to do decently at the global box office!

A movie ticket with location-identifying details blotted out, sat on a pant leg.

@surfwax83.bsky.social Hi, don't know if you still specifically manage the rock charts for Billboard, but if so, I was wondering if the solo Doechii version of Anxiety could become eligible for Alt and Rock/Alt, since the instrumental is literally just STIUtK with no embellishments, and that's there

Anybody on here that cares about the Japan Hot 100? I keep track of the points songs earn on the chart (and estimate those not provided by the official site) to do running predictions of the year-end, and here's what I have so far!

@surfwax83.bsky.social Hi, chart fan here, and I noticed that the TikTok Billboard list got a year-end (Don't know who manages it, but since you do the weekly articles, I'm guessing maybe you?). Any insight on how Type Sh** placed so high off of a #5 peak and 6 weeks and TGIF placed off no run?

A couple tidbits about this week's chart in terms of peaks and survivors: - Wind Up Missin' You has survived to a 39th week. - After dropping out last week, Happy Holiday / The Holiday Season is back. - Mistletoe re-enters. - Like It's Christmas is up 50-39 for a new peak.

Since it seems like there's no big hub for chart stuff on this site, I can fill a niche (probably temporarily until Talk of the Charts jumps ship from the other place). To start, since Billboard didn't announce debuts, I can confirm from their artist widget a couple...

[Insert "If I Had a Nickel" meme] [Insert parameter "a song seemed to get removed out of the blue from DDR only to be returned mere months later"]

I knew it was coming, but with Apple Music doing their Replay promo, there was @samhaft.com abound! In addition to these slides, When I See Him played on the slide detailing my total minutes. Thanks for soundtracking these past few years, Sam!
