I think the world would be a better place if everyone was tuned into their body clocks. morning larks work 7-3. normies work 9-5. night owls work 11-7. businesses are open 12 hours a day so customers can contact outside of their working hours. everyone on staff is there from 11-3 for collaboration.

Wile E. Coyote, despaired, takes a bucket of paint and a brush and paints a beautiful two-bedroom house on a mountainside. He paints a beautiful coyote wife in the window, and two adorable coyote kids running around in the yard. He tries to enter this new coyote life, but it is inaccessible to him

In older editions of D&D, the paladin was a holy warrior devoted to a god. Newer editions expanded the paladin's oath to any cause, such as to a King, or the Wilds (Oath of the Ancients). Paladins can get their powers from ANY oath, and Oathbreaker paladins get their power by breaking any oath... 🧵

Last summer, my car insurance (never made a claim, no tickets, no accidents, loyal customer of 10+ years, bundled with homeowners) went up from like $600/6mo to $1000/6mo. Called. Tried to get my rate lowered. Got told "it's inflation" and there was nothing I could do. 🧵

I just saw a meme that said “get in losers, we’re reclaiming the emdash”. People. PEOPLE. Where are your STANDARDS? It CLEARLY should be “get in, losers — we’re reclaiming the em dash.”

I wish I could play D&D every 10 days. Once a week can be Too Much. Sometimes there's not enough time to prep for sessions. Every other week feels like Not Enough. People start to forget what happened last sesh. But having a routine like "Wednesdays" makes scheduling easier.

I wonder how many GMs who feel "my players hate me" are actually really good GMs who play compelling villains, and their players DO hate those villains, but it's character-directed-at-NPC hate not player-directed-at-GM hate, and they ARE reading the room correctly, but coming to the wrong conclusion

The rules for underwater combat and seafaring travel are a bit tricky. The rules for interplanar travel and how spells work on the outer planes are also a bit tricky. And yet I feel better prepared to run a planescape campaign than a pirate campaign. Is this because I'm scared of crabs IRL?

This is Bodie. His presence indicates the beginning of Pride Month. May his whimsy and steadfastness bring joy and confidence to all. 14/10 the parade starts right behind him 🌈🐾 (IG: hellobodie)

a golden retriever puppy on a bright pink rope leash prances through some tall grass. he’s wearing a brightly patterned bandana around his neck and is carrying a miniature six-stripe pride flag in his mouth. his front right paw is raised mid-stride, like he’s ready to hop into a pride parade at any second.
