I've been very tired and very grumpy today, but the reason is pretty funny, so I thought I'd tell you all. I did not sleep well at all last night. I kept having weird dreams and waking up every hour or so. I'd be dreaming and then I'd hear this low growling in my dream and it would wake me up.
I don't think anyone envisaged the day that the worlds of national shed competitions and nerd wargaming would collide, but here we are! Seriously inspirational on so many fronts, and Otty seems such a lovely guy. Well worth a watch! youtu.be/ZSVpTdYr7bE?...

It really spoke to me on a near spiritual level. I've been a much happier person ever since I stopped worrying about "can I even do this?" and just started doing the things I want to do. Sounds so silly in retrospect but I think there is such great value in being creative even if only for yourself.

National Trust@nationaltrust.org.uk · 5d agoThis week, a wildfire has torn through Dunwich Heath in Suffolk, leaving the entire nature reserve devastated. An area of around 210 football pitches has been affected with rare habitats and wildlife lost in a matter of hours.
I put some washing out about ten minutes ago thinking it'd be fine overnight and laughed to myself, what if that caused it to rain, I'd have saved Suffolk. Ladx, it's raining!

This is my painting of pond trolls, it is acrylic on card. My favourite pond troll is the one with the mossy coat. The pond trolls do look a little bit threatening in some ways but they aren't really and they smell of petrichor. Please water them daily and keep them out of direct sunlight.
