I'm loving the boom in Lala lore talk, but I get a little sad thinking about how much Rivi is alienated from it all. Raised by Elezen, with little chance to immerse in Lala community due to the way life went - with their gender, being WoL, etc it's just another thing on the pile to them, but still.

i might need to make a massive infographic on all the lalafell stuff going on in eorzean history, the only blind spot for me is the fine details of what happened in nym, though it is pretty funny there's another pocket of nymian obsessed lala players...we must pool our knowledge together...

Drawings of my lalafell Panini in different outfits. One of them is more formal and princess-y, and her hair is longer, while in the other she is wearing brown commoner clothes and her hair is short. The latter has a label that reads "she is normally like this".

NPC Rivi stays with the Students, first appearing in the Eureka quests alongside Ejika. Still hopelessly crushing on Krile, but never acting on it (to Ejika's great annoyance). Remains extremely timid and meek with never becoming WoL, so there's a subplot about Krile and Meteor giving them courage.

#wolqotd for the people whose characters are the warrior of light: imagine your WoL was not the protagonist and was instead an NPC. what role would they play in MSQ? would they be a friend of the scions? a comedic side-character? a role-quest npc? what's their dynamic with meteor, if any?

I was actually hesitant to try the game when my partner first tried to sell me on it. It looked very complicated and I'd never played an MMO before. Then he showed me Lalafell and the prospect of playing a cute silly little gnome critter that I could dress up grabbed me completely
