Publicly available resource: 93K+ chemical perturbations meets #transcriptomic profiling. Rare transcript patterns reveal cell states — including ferroptosis resistance — that smaller-scale approaches miss entirely. This is where the field is going. #RNASky #RNA #RNAseq #GeneExpression

Chemical-induced gene signatures (CIGS) is a high-resolution dataset of 319,045,108 gene expression events induced by chemical perturbation. www.nature.com/articles/s41...

Nature Biomed Eng (July 7): non-capped, non-polyadenylated RNA oligonucleotides efficiently activate CD8+ T cells in vivo. No canonical mRNA features required for translation or immunogenicity. The field's model of how RNA is translated just got more complicated. #RNASky #RNA #ChemRNA

Chemically synthesized, non-capped and non-polyadenylated peptide-coding RNA efficiently induces antigen-specific CD8+ T cells

RNA hydrolysis at elevated RT temps isn't a footnote. It's actively degrading your long transcripts during the reaction. New data at #RNATx '26 quantifies how much and shows what changes with an RT at 30°C. 3 modalities: SR, PacBio LR, and ONT DRS. The gains for transcripts ≥10kb are substantial.

RNAConnect to present scientific poster at RNATx 2026.

Long transcripts still get lost in #ONT direct RNA-seq without the right RT. Tonight at #RNA2026, we're sharing new data on how uMRT fixes that. (P2-293) Improved long transcript representation in ONT direct RNA-seq with UltraMarathonRT® — tonight, 8:30–10:30 PM, Room 517bc & 520 #RNA #RNASeq

If you're running #ONT Direct RNA Seq with the current Induro protocol, your #RNA may be partially degraded before it ever reaches the pore. A new preprint demonstrates that substantial RNA hydrolysis occurs with RT buffer conditions at 60°C and that uMRT at 30°C is a better solution. 🔗👇 #RNASky
