I don't understand why such actions are being taken by science orgs. At @cos.io we cannot meet our mission to increase openness, integrity, and reproducibility of research WITHOUT improving Inclusion->offer respect and access Equity->adapt to people's needs Diversity->for everyone Fold on that? No

Extremely disappointed to see HHMI decide to kill their Inclusive Excellence program, including terminating the current IE3 awards to over a hundred institutions effective this year in the middle of a 6-year grant. I was hoping HHMI (and other private funders) would continue to lead the way.

Really pleased to now be on BlueSky and looking forward to being able to move back to constructive discussions, as we used to be able to do on Twitter. Really great to see the acceleration of people now moving across to this platform.
