For a while now I have been busy with this “AI” thing called Claude 😉. Happy to say I have my first very functional app running. Took some laps around Claude to get it to fix its own mistakes and get my head around what I actually find useful, but my “conversational Finnish” app is in beta.

You know what ticks me off in IT, still after all these years? Every time you install something on a Windows machine, it has to restart at least once. Most often, it will restart several times because .net requires a restart. There has to be a smarter way. Restarting a whole server.. crazy

In the Netherlands, at a certain age, you get colon cancer tests mailed. Well, I reached that age a while ago. Got my results back, and nothing to worry about. Next checkup in two years. If you do get the opportunity to check up, do so. Test, check and be in front of it.

Visited a fair at a local castle… fairs aren’t my thing really, so I find alternative things to do.. Today, that was a lovely butterfly posing for me.

Energy production and such are crazy in the Netherlands due to decades of very poor network management. To burn off too much produced energy (you pay for too much produced energy), I'm cooking stew-type meals. On Monday we had ragù; yesterday I made Beef bourguignon. I guess tomorrow it is Rendang.

A thought... Shouldn't there be mobile-free bars, discos, and such? Places where youngsters can sing, dance, and be a fool at times. Not afraid that someone will record their move, failure, and mock them online? I'm an old guy; my crazy moves are behind me. But youngsters should experience life

I was on a ship the other day... between Germany and Finland. As we are on the ship, the timezone on board is Finnish. Breakfast and such are served at specific times. If you're too late, it is gone. We missed breakfast once (almost) as our mobiles showed the wrong time. I need to a TZ detector

Had a Finnish wedding the other day. They had an issue with too much foam on the beer. Not a beer expert but that sounded like a lot of pressure 😉. When the pressure was down they had good glasses of beer. During my community work we had tap issues often. It wasn’t a complete guess 😎
