One thing I’ve come to realise about the far right is that everything that they don’t like about immigrants and all the fear mongering narrative about them is pure projection and could easily be applied to their world view easily.

The progression of certain thinkers from denying the validity of trans people to denying the validity of disabilities is a nice illustration of the way in which transphobic habits of mind can quickly evolve into a kind of acquired sociopathy.
