The IMF says we pay $5T/year to subsidize fossil fuels — that's $13M per MINUTE to destroy our future. Meanwhile solar & wind fight for scraps. We don't have a funding problem. We have a priority problem.

In Spain and have become completely addicted to Campesino flavored crisps! Lays pictured here, but the Mercadona brand are actually the best!

An incredible cover by Norwegian Jørgen Dahl Moe. Right down to the very last beautiful note. I think Bruce Springsteen would approve 100%. Hope he has heard this. I keep playing over and over. Enjoy!

I was horrified to recently learn that this policy was introduced during the OPEC oil crisis as a way to save a bit of gas at the known expense of pedestrian lives. The fact it wasn’t immediately rescinded at the end of the crisis explains so much.

I also think no right on red should be standard, we need protected bike lanes and physical speed deterrents (more than just speed bumps and speed limits), safer road design, more transit and pedestrian focused options.

Every second, $6,000 in fossil fuel subsidies are handed out globally. That’s $5 trillion/year. Renewables? Barely a fraction. We have 6–7 years to halve emissions. The industry has zero years of conscience. Share if you’ve had enough. 🌍✊

SPECIAL ALERT: In preparation for the day, everyone should make sure they have a pot and spoon ready to hand, so we can really make the cacophony in the moment!

Coined a new phrase for this AI slop world… “Is it worth the kilowatts?” The answer is, more often than not, no. See ya, Suno!

One has to wonder when California decides it’s time to call it quits from this sinking ship! US population has started its decline about 50 years earlier than expected! Trump is about to explode the debt and start a war with Europe!

At some point we have to stop giving respect to disgusting people. We are being told to deny reality to protect terrible people. Enough is enough. I’m utterly sick of it.
