ASD Chief HR Officer Marty Lang told the school board that all 20 teaching positions have been filled from the $2.6M appropriated on Aug. 5 to hire those 20 teachers. 122 vacancies remain, down from 148 at the start of last year. The board will vote on another $3.5M for 27 more teachers shortly.
