pieces for a collaboration

dr. nitrus brio from crash bandicoot, a small, scrawny old man with bushy eyebrows, sunken eyes, and a proportionally oversized oblong-shaped bald head with a nut and bolt screwed into each side of his upper cranium. most of his body is covered by a long green lab coat, save for his comically short legs and large feet (clad in red boots). he is hunched over and leering at the viewer with a wide, almost slack-jawed smile full of crooked teeth, a pink liquid dripping from his mouth. in his right hand (our left) he is holding a nearly empty flask of the same liquid — mutagenic serum he often employs in the crash bandicoot games. his left arm (our right) appears to be in the middle of growing to a much larger size, muscular and veiny and tinted green (think the incredible hulk).

lani-loli from crash bandicoot. he is a carved mask made of azure-colored stone resembling a vaguely humanoid, very simplified and cartoony face. his eyes (which are blank white) and mouth (which has simplified, tube-like lips) are separate pieces of the mask that seemingly float around over it as his facial expressions change. spiral-shaped protrusions forking out of either side of the mask resemble stylized, comically large ears. the top of the mask flares out into a large crest made up of four blocky prongs. his eyes are widened and worried and his grimace is so wide that it stretches off the sides of the main piece of his mask. the upper half of his mask is solid, and the lower half is translucent. rectangular clusters of glitchy artifacts are scattered around him. wherever these rectangular strips overlay him, the opaque parts of him appear translucent and vice versa, representing his ability to phase between different planes of existence.
