I’ve been on vacation for a week - mostly off the news. Coming back, it’s honestly insane to think this is still where we are.
People are falling for the DSA vs Establishment trap again. Didn’t we learn our lesson in 2016 and 2024? It’s the establishment’s job to build a coalition that can win EVERYWHERE. In some places, that means ultra-progressive. In others, it means establishment. The tent is big enough for all of us.

I spent LBJ Day with his daughter, Luci Baines Johnson. I’m running for her father’s Senate seat to continue LBJ’s fight for education, healthcare, and economic opportunity for all. I’m honored to be in this fight with Luci. In November, we’re going to win back her dad’s seat.

In possibly the fastest shift in public opinion I've ever seen, local data center approval went from -5 to -65 in less than a year heatmap.news/daily/data-c...
I'm sorry but it's clearly newsworthy that the President's decisions are being unduly influenced by a mentally unstable obsessive no one voted for who has attached themselves to him in an effort to live out weird fantasies they've had for decades. Something has to be done about Stephen Miller.

90 day discount on beef—does nothing to address the problem. Clown economics.
My opinion: data centers are massively hated because they represent the tech overlords that are getting richer and richer off our back, and are more and more out of touch. H/t to Tim Miller for bringing this up on today’s pod. What do you think?
The WaPo says Todd Blanche is right about DOJ independence. But there’s a critical difference between a president setting law enforcement priorities & a president deciding who gets investigated & prosecuted. Apparently, we need to talk about that difference. joycevance.substack.com/p/the-washin...
