Almost exactly what I’m doing now for new Svelte 5 site. It’s working out very well,
Also use something like this too right? To import and specificity
your token costs: lower your server costs: lower your bandwidth costs: lower not to mention the fact that you'll ship in half the time and tear out less hair in the process. just use @svelte.dev, people. it's like other frameworks but better
We measured the LLM token cost of 5 frontend frameworks on identical components. Svelte wins, Angular costs 38% more — and your AI bill feels it. #webdevelopment
When someone says, “one the worst movies I’ve ever seen. I loved it,” we can be friends.
saw the new He-Man movie. it was bad. it was so bad. it was so delightfully stupid. one of the worst movies ive ever seen. I loved it so much. 4.5 stars, will absolutely watch this shit a million more times
FlexSearch is an insanely cool (and magical!) OSS search engine. It works great with Svelte and is well explained by @joyofcode.xyz here: tinyurl.com/matia-flexse... It is amazing how fast and effective it is. Thanks for your video, Matia. github.com/nextapps-de/...

Svelte 5 brought _huge_ wins! I am moving a Svelte 4 site to 5–gaining major readability and losing complexity. 5 is great!
actually one of my favorite features: just type +page to quickly access all of your routes. Something is definitely worse but I'd day that overall svelte 5 brought pretty big wins. Any way we could improve what we have today?
I’d take Neil Breen over any a-lister. He’ll one day rise like Van Gogh!
Idk!! They are completely unaware of Neil Breen! I've polled older people, and people my age and younger, and it seems like it's odd to them that anyone would CHOOSE to watch a bad movie 🤷
I’ve just started using pino. No prod yet but it seems to do server/client sides pretty well.
I'm wondering what logging library do you use with svelte? We use Sentry logging and it's node console integration.
What could go wrong? :) -> Cloudflare says AI agents can now create Cloudflare accounts, start paid subscriptions, register domains, and deploy apps on behalf of users
Agents can now create Cloudflare accounts, buy domains, and deploy
Starting today, agents can now be Cloudflare customers. They can create a Cloudflare account, start a paid subscription, register a domain, and get back an API token to deploy code right away. Humans ...

I just stumbled on to www.projectwallace.com. Wow, it is a great bunch of analyzers that help refactor your CSS.
CSS Analytics - Project Wallace
The best CSS Analyzer on the web. Check your CSS complexity, specificity, performance, design tokens and much more.

This is an insanely well-done SQL client! It imported my DB Beaver connections and I was connected in 10 seconds. Lightning fast and very intuitive. The first impressions are through the roof! Props to @mikenikles.com
Do you use DBeaver? Want to try seaquel.app? I've got you covered 🤝
It is a _great_ talk. And zero bullet points. Don’t miss his musical vids on YT. He is a very clever guy!
This is a bloody fantastic talk. Halfway through and cannot stop watching :) www.youtube.com/watch?v=nhbY... #css
EccoPro was great. It sure didn’t live very long.
I continue to be immensely impressed by @obsidian.md. Other PKM systems I've tried have always failed due to their rigidity of use. I haven't been this excited about #pkm since the mid 1990's when I had an all too brief love affair with EccoPro. #obsidian #ObsidianMD
It might have its downsides, but it beats the alternative. Consider the situation Tailwind is in right now. 75% of that team is gone.
This is great for the Astro team, but it's honestly worrying for the web as a whole. More and more open-source project teams (Astro, Bun, Nuxt, Svelte…) are joining bigger corporations instead of being able to remain independant. blog.cloudflare.com/astro-joins-...
I left Twitter a while ago. It has been great seeing such a rich, active, and helpful #svelte community develop here. Fuck Musk!
Said my piece on X in the Laravel subreddit, I really hope we can start migrating away as a community and it was so good to see so MANY people calling it out for what it is already in the comments.
Advent of Svelte 2025 was great 🎉 So many styles, so much diversity. Loved it 🧡 Have a nice end of the year See you next `pnpm i`
day 24 — it's very important, especially at this time of festive indulgence, to stay hydrated. @paolo.ricciuti.me shows us a new trick for passing data from server to client, using `hydratable` docs: svelte.dev/docs/svelte/... and that's a wrap! thanks for tuning in everyone, and happy holidays 🎄
The Svelte team’s amazing efforts in 2025 is very appreciated! Thank you all. Happy holidays!
It's almost time..but wait, what's that flicker? Server and client discrepancies 😡 that you can now fix with `hydratable`! Even better, you can fetch on the server and NOT refetch on the client! Checkout the last day of Advent of Svelte, thanks for following along! advent.sveltesociety.dev/2025/24
How does DO app engine compare to Vercel? Is it working well for you? Missing anything?
Moved another site off of Vercel to the Digital Ocean app engine. If I wanted to continue financial support for the Svelte Team after cancelling my Vercel Pro account, where should I direct a small monthly donation?
This! For sure. The entire team is so great.
Really thankful today for @rich-harris.dev, @dummdidumm.bsky.social, and all of the rest of the @svelte.dev team. Four years ago, when I discovered Svelte and SvelteKit, I never could have known that working on them full time would be paying the bills.
Your mine years’ worth of keystrokes are very much appreciated, Simon
Kind of crazy that this means I'm now part of Svelte more than half the time it exists. Time flies - still enjoying every minute of this ride!
Vanilla Sky and Reacher are on my Tom Cruise no-fly zone
Trying to think of a bad Tom Cruise movie and I can’t and it’s freaking me out.
Neil Young’s Let’s Roll—released a month or so after 9/11.
You ever think about how there was only 1 to 2 months between the actual wreck of the Edmund Fitzgerald and Gordon Lightfoot recording his song. And how weird and slightly deranged it would be if someone had dropped a banger about a contemporary disaster on its heels.
Very soon! #scope is in the FireFox 146.0a1 nightly build. I am so ready for this.
Nice. But not FF compatible yet. Soon though.
