We were fine, btw; the assholes in town for the blowhard conference didn’t find us. I wish it didn’t feel like you need more martyrs before it’s real.

My foster daughter was an ICU nurse in 2020. The text messages I have from her from that time are indescribable. She only called when we could both cry uncontrollably. I would like for this man not to be allowed to say to the world that these things never happened. That is not a lot to ask.

They set up emergency medical tents in Central Park. Healthcare worker colleagues died. It is horrific that RFK Jr is on national TV lying that ICUs were empty.

I am finally getting my young trans teen the “Nice gender, did your mommy pick it out for you?” shirt they have coveted for ages (with the caveat that we will need to agree when & where it can be worn). When I first showed them a picture of it they spun in circles with glee.

And, ideally, it would leave so many of them broke that it actually becomes a deterrent. Being poor is truly all they care about not because they don’t care about prison.
It’s visually beautiful in a surreal kind of way. Also I can’t fucking breathe & am crawling out of my skin from the amount of nebulizers I’ve had to do today.
