just heard that the Cartoon Art Museum in San Francisco closed down after not renewing their lease. for 42 years they had 90+ y/old animation cels and showcased local artists. this was one of my favorite spots when i was a bay area local, it's sad to see it go. hoping they find a new home soon :(
i've been having fun scanning my old PS1/PS2 discs and emulating them on my computer. it feels like a superpower. you're telling me i have an HD version of my favorite games, and all i need are the old discs? incredible! i avoided PC gaming for far too long, this shit rocks 🥹

i'm finally going through my 2-hour interview with Charles Zembillas (the character designer of Spyro and many more), and i'm turning it into a comic script. you're all in for a real treat! at some point he mentioned TADC and earnestly compared it to 'Easy Rider' as a generation defining movie.
entering my 30's this year, and something i think i'll appreciate down the line is having had a 50+ y/old furry roomate in my early 20's. there's this TikTok-y idea that furry is a "young" community for teens, which couldn't be further from the truth. your silly hobby may make friends for life 🧡
