We lost a brilliant actor. For us, he is Holmes. Other Holmes portrayers have done good or less jobs but Jeremy Brett's Holmes to us represents what Doyle wanted for his detective. We watch the episodes regularly and own them all on DVD.

31 years ago #OTD 12 September 1995, we lost Jeremy Brett. 🥀 He died of heart failure at home in London at the age of 61.
