Is something wrong about the environmental argument for EVs? It seems like when arguing for EVs, it’s an unwritten rule to not discuss the zero-tailpipe emissions. Is the average person expected to not care about emissions they themselves put in the air? Nobody is fine leaving trash on the ground.

A MSNBC broadcast pointed out the US Department of Energy recommends that 78 degree figure. Immediately after, the US Department of Energy deleted 6,000 web pages related to energy saving.
What is the point of installing level 2 charging points if we’re just going to make it cost the same as some DC fast chargers. These prices just penalize EV owners who can’t easily charge at home. Also why is there sales tax on public EV charging when there’s no tax on EV charging at home?
