As the Democratic primaries swing left (relatively speaking), one wonders if the swing voters may start to be repelled. Would more centrist candidates do better in the real elections? Maybe, but all is lost anyway if a toothless, conciliatory, "moderate" democratic group prevails.

One pedal driving on EVs should be illegal. When at carpark speeds, your foot should be on the brake. Mashing the murder pedal is the main cause of "unintendended acceleration" crashes. Even without OPD, that "save a life" and "kill them all" use pedals inches apart is a UI fail shared by all cars.

My brain is wired different: 1) I cannot understand the logicthat has resulted in the terms "inside lane" & "outside lane". Inside or outside of what? I find the term meaningless. 2) Do mixer taps with red & blue marks on the rotating bit turn so you can see the temp you want, or so it disappears?

Guy in a pickup stopped after I slipped out on ice and dislocated my shoulder. Drove me and my bike to hospital, and lent me his phone to call my wife. (There was no way I could retrieve mine from my jersey pocket). Waited at the hospital until she arrived so my bike could be transferred.
