slimegirl 🏳️⚧️@rzrgrl.gay · 9mo agoI think introducing skill-based damage avoidance into something like an RPG leads to very pigeonholed design. bosses will always boil down to "I'm gonna getcha! I'm gonna do it this time! for realsies!" or have a bunch of similar cues and because there's no other way to deal damage it'll be fatal
