“Can we simulate what happens inside a cell?” That’s one of the questions driving our newest secondees at the Rosalind Franklin Institute. We are excited to welcome Jacqui Cole and Owen Rackham, who are joining the Artificial Intelligence and Informatics for Predictive Biology Challenge.

Just one week left to apply for the Rosalind Franklin Institute’s practical course on nanobody discovery technology. Designed for postdoctoral researchers and PhD students, this course will build skills in discovering and engineering nanobodies, and provide an opportunity to connect with others.

Practical course on nanobody discovery technology
Learn from the Rosalind Franklin Institute’s Nanobody Discovery Team through a mix of hands-on lab experience, interactive workshops and seminars.

You will learn:
Phage display and selection of nanobodies 
Expression, purification and characterisation of nanobodies 
Data management and machine learning applied to nanobodies 

The workshop is open to early career post-doctoral researchers and PhD students with at least one years’ laboratory experience and a background in biochemistry, molecular biology or related fields.
