So.

For the past year roughly (I've been living here longer than that but it's just gotten most egregious), I have been living in an increasingly volatile and emotionally abusive household that has only grown tighter and more suffocating around my throat by the month.

I cannot do my fucking job that I am paid already decent money for because of them.

They have been a huge part of my absence this past year.

They have displayed increasingly controlling and paranoid behavior regarding my choices in life, beyond anything that mere concern could justify. Upon even the suggestion that I may be rooming in with multiple people, I have been catastrophized to about, "being killed by them (as in the roommates) and having my organs sold because they're strangers".

Very well adjusted thing to say, I know.

This has only somewhat improved since a partner of mine moved in last year, on account of having someone to vouch for me that my parents are, in fact, legitimately off their rocker. But it has become clear that the other people with whom I live in this situation, have more selfish and ill intentions to drive my partner away with no regard for their well being, and have had me be the brunt of ableist comments indirectly regarding my partner. This can be attributed to them being strongly conservative/traditional sorts that only want me to be around people who are "healthy".

We are moving out much sooner than expected because of this. We already have a good idea for where we will go, so that is not an issue; however, I intend to save up as much as I can over the next few months/weeks, and I recognize that this would be a good time to ask for financial aid if anyone is generous enough to provide it and accelerate this process.

In this text, and in replies/comments, is a link to a Ko-Fi I just made.

By the end of this summer, I do not want to be here anymore. Period. There will be an interval after the move where I will need to settle in of course, but more than even for my own sake, I am doing this because I just want to work on my fucking projects in peace. If anything ever gets in the way of it, I am driven to deal with it before it continues to be an issue. This is all I care for doing in this moment of my life, possibly for my whole life even, and in the world in general. I know this has only more potential the more time I give it, I have not just the following but also the numbers and intuition to back it, and more time is simply all I ask.

I have no specific goal in mind. This is effectively a tip jar.

I apologize for this being such a sudden post, but it *was* a very long time coming. I really don't like resorting to financial aid because I'm used to earning it, rather than asking. But if I care about my wellbeing and also getting to actually continue doing my job, this is what I've had to resort to. It's just fucking ridiculous at this point.

To be also clear, I already will make enough to make the move itself work. This Ko-Fi will mainly be open *just* to cover other immediate expenses for the first month of wherever I end up. (Food, furniture, anything I have not accounted for at the moment, just generally having a good financial cushion to start)

Work will resume much more quickly after this is done.
