I made this poster some time ago of an assortment of my little "Jellular" organelle characters, some of which I've had since my high school days. Never got around to uploading it until now. It's been selling really well at conventions and delighting many a teacher and biologist, though!

Mm so they want journalism without journalists, images without artists, books without writers, and performances with no actors. I dunno seems like they just hate everyone and this whole thing is incompatible with humanity and should be dismantled stem to stern I dunno I dunno

#NationalIllustrationDay I said recently that I miss feeling like a published illustrator. 🥲 This is one of the original ink and gouache artworks for the now out of print Aladdin, published by Walker Books in 2011. It was a labour of love and remains a personal favourite.

I miss feeling like a professional book illustrator. 🥲 These are some of the books I illustrated for the Folio Society, more than ten years ago (dead name! Ignore!) I felt I did a little better with each one, notwithstanding some individual pieces that I can't bear now. 😅 #NationalBookLoversDay
