Might not be quite enough to stop the far right altogether but the effect (which I’ve seen reported elsewhere) is stunning. We have chosen to tolerate an information environment where this is possible.

This illustrates perfectly why Scotland needs independence urgently, can you imagine Scotland projecting this attitude out to the world ? If it were to act like the English are now, I would emigrate (and yes I`m English, live in Scotland as a "New Scot" and firmly support Indy) values are everything

Ruth Watson@ruthwatson.eurosky.social · 2mo agoWhen we were returning home to Scotland after living overseas for 10 years, we HAD to tick the box saying we were immigrants - even though we are Scottish. I phoned the Home Office helpline and was told we were, indeed, now classed as immigrants despite the fact we were coming home.
