Back with some Saturday gratitude for the things that keep me going amidst the times we find ourselves in...1) community, 2) a nice cup of Puerto Rican coffee, 3) writing papers from the comfort of my bed, 4) day dreaming, 5) summer Friday picnics in Central Park, 6) my favorite jazz playlist.
Summer sunsets, an iced latte, a good book, and I get some hours of distraction from the hell escape we are living in!
...and it doesn't help that we are getting bombarded with subway ads all about AI this AI that....Like, can we go back to the divorce attorney ads on the subway? Pls. I'm tired of the AI app ads and the Weight Watchers ads.

Yet another semester of gringo academia recycling knowledge that Caribbean Black Scholars have been writing/researching for a century without citing said scholars. So here I go, another doctoral semester of walking into class and screaming it from the top of my lungs.
