Alex turning into Pyramid Head at the end of Silent Hill Homecoming
Sonic Superstars is underrated. The level themes & gimmicks are fun & rarely ruin the flow of the level. Most of the bosses go down quickly when using chaos powers. My only issue with the game are some bosses who can't be gimped w/ chaos powers, soundtrack, & Knuckles' controls.
I haven't played the demo to @apexmangostudio.bsky.social's 'Fruitbearer' since it was updated.. but gosh, it's better than it was before! Still on my wishlist, and now I definitely can't wait to play the full game! It's gonna be lots of fun! store.steampowered.com/app/4415560/...

This room looks accurate on the newest PCSX2 builds! Left=Accurate, blur + translucent outline around Heather is present in this room on real hardware. Right=Clearer but not accurate to how this room functions on real hardware.
I love emulation. This shade of green is much nicer than the original gameboy's green, yet it still looks authentic to the intended experience. Dot matrix and ghosting still present, just a nicer color and bolder contrast.
Video games are more expensive than ever. If third parties were allowed to distribute ps games, legally & with royalties to sony, then we'll get more varied box arts & prices will go down to complete, & we may even see the return of game manuals from higher end distributers.
The difficulty of this game is very understated. I never expect it to be as hard as it is every time I go back to it.

I love how monsters with visible eyes are a rarity in Silent Hill. The only monster in Homecoming with eyes is Amnion. But her's are closed. SH3 nurses have eyes but they're always looking down. Why? Really makes you think.
Very much did! Game crashed out on me after the last cutscene before the ending, but apparently I was set for the UFO ending, which I find probably the one really weird choice of Homecoming, being able to get that on a first playthrough. Apart from that and some combat issues, absolutely top game.
Guess we'll finish our little journey through #SilentHill #Homecoming today and I'm exceptionally stoked to see how it all ends. I very much enjoyed playing it, warts and all, and meeting so many positive people on the way. Maybe we'll meet some more, now, over on www.twitch.tv/melancholygeek
