It seems some taxes are more important to collect than others. Or perhaps, as @privateeyenews.bsky.social have argued for many years, there’s a 2 tier system where the little folk pay and the rich get special treatment. Time for serious reform of HMRC, not more cuts to vulnerable groups.

Can only be humbled by Madame Pelicot. And yet I’m astonished, angry and ashamed that so many were willing, and obviously looking for an opportunity, to do what they did. Whilst an ocean away, a rapist takes power in January. I fear even more for the females of this world.
