Ok not so obscure but if there’s a chance a DJ from Fargo’s Y-94 back in the day (mid to late 1980s) remembers (or is) Shelly Carr I remember a most humorous story about this song.
So, this one is obscure to the point of not being known outside of Eastern South Dakota. I have more to say about this band another time, but for now I’ll just say I do miss them and I’m glad I got to hear them.

Not a genre I’m super familiar with but I am really liking Sheila E.’s take on it.
This album has been an exercise in personal frustration. The guitar work is up my alley, the rhythm section is tight and full, and the concept of the band should be in my wheelhouse. Yet once again the cookie-monster metal vocals do their best to push me away from giving them a follow on Spotify.
