Once upon a time in 2020 I ran a demon slayer account on shitter, I was looking back through my folders from then for some stuff and thought these were still pretty good 💕✨ I should rewatch that show.

Last night my friend finished the dawntrail post-game cutscene where Lamaty'i beats the fuck out of a forcefield, and after I spent 2 hours faffing with an illustrator file, I just entered a flow state to cool down with these. Lamaty'i you will always be famous to me.

Wuk Lamat from FFXIV sketched loosely in various action poses, swinging an axe at a barrier that keeps reflecting it back until her hands bleed from the effort. At the bottom is a little doodle of my ffxiv character René, who is in love with her but hasn't confessed, crying and yelling "Lamaty'i PLEASE just gimme ONE CHANCE-"

Reposting from my yapping account- I'm still animating! But during dnd I noodled at a mtg card proxy I'm having fun with. Maybe I'll finish it, slowly alongside everything else... But because I can't work on it today I left notes for myself to fix later, if you're interested in seeing that.

The original MTG card I'm redrawing. Called Vnwxt, Verbose Host. A legendary creature Homonculus.The first redraw with Caine among a swirl of magical "digital circus" themed objects and Bubble.I've redlined all the tangents and lines that annoy me in the sketch.I've loosely redrawn in blue all the objects at different sizes and positions to fix each tangent.

Damn I just sat down and drew René's whole family after they've been half baked (visually, the lore was solid) for like 2 years. Sorry I barely talk about them.

A magic the gathering card redrawn with my OC's, in the sketch phase. René, a curly haired elf, kneels, holding a book to his chest. His eyes are closed, and one hand is delicately held out behind him and open. From the book come waves of energy, revealing the ghostly figures of his family behind him, reaching back out towards him and caressing his back and hair with love. There's a curly haired elven lady and a large Roegadyn closest to him, these are his blood parents, followed by a Dalmascan hyurian couple behind them, these two took him in when he tried and failed to return to Bozja after the incident, and had nowhere to go. Behind them all is a large arkasodaran, an elephant lady, she reaches her arms around them all. She was René's tutor and caretaker in Thavnair before he left to find his parents in Bozja, they only reconnected recently, and she is the only one of them still alive, though I still plan to draw her as a ghost here. The card reads "René, reader of ruins."

For no reason whatsoever, here are magic the gathering cards I wanna redraw for myself. Roxanne and Mica as Lamaty'i and René in a deck that works with itself, Kitt as a more fitting Lamaty'i as the sole commander. Vnwxt as Caine for obvious reasons- BUT I'M CURSED BY THE SHAKLES OF TIME--
