Man, Clair Obscur has so many little quality of life things I now never want to go without. For example, the way recovery items work like Estus flasks means I use them all the time instead of hoarding them for a boss I never end up spending them on.

Sinners was so fucking good. I was expecting a fun vampire time, I was not expecting a movie with so much amazing stuff to say about what it means to make music, and what music can do. All the performances were out of control.

I think one of my fav things that happened at GDC this year was chatting with my fellow panelists before our talk and all of us agreeing that we have the same urge to eat the bath bombs at Lush

Picture of a variety of Lush bath bombs. A few of them are actually shaped like foods (macarons, sticky buns, etc) but all of them look delicious regardless

So I'm currently teaching a class on video game music at a local film music program. Students are all adults, mid 20a to 50+. Some have never played a video game in their lives and are asking for examples to help them learn more about the medium What games would you recommend?

I had an amazing time at #gdc meeting up with old friends, making new ones, giving a talk, and generally soaking up the energy of this incredible, creative community, but you'll have to extrapolate all that from the only photo I remembered to take

Picture of a really good fried chicken sandwich I ate. Noticeably absent: literally any aspect of GDC

Very happy to be speaking at GDC again this year, with some very cool people. You should stop by, we'll have good advice (yes), industry horror stories (probably) and caramel apples (no).

I have shared this story, this thread, before - but I think given the state of the world, it's worth telling once again. Maybe it can help, especially if like me, you make art, and you wonder what the use of all of it is right now.

🚨 Everyone needs to call their Dem Senator right now. They are starting to cave. Tell them: 1. Vote NO on Cloture AND 2. Vote NO on the Republican spending bill. Don’t let them pivot to reconciliation. GOP doesn’t need Dem votes on that and they know it. TODAY is the showdown. 🤳🏽: (202) 224-3121
