I had the opportunity to storyboard the intro for Fionna and Cake season 2 and this was the animatic I put together for it! Shout out to @smallbu.bsky.social for going so hard animating the final version. And to composer Amanda Jones for the heart pumping score!
I am a little bit mad that it rained the entire time I’ve been on holiday break so I barely got to go outside, but on the bright side I rediscovered cocoa.
I have had worse years, but this one was a little bit shit. I’m doing better tho and tbh as long as I get to play with friends each year I am grateful. See you in 2026 ✌️
Fionna and Cake season 2 has finished airing (😵💫) so I wanted to share my concepts for the end credits from each episode. The goal was for it to complement the gorgeous storybook art direction of @michaeldeforge.bsky.social 's title cards

Some of my concepts for The Butterfly and the River! Fun fact: I traced my own middle school art as the base for Nelly’s drawing (and old heads might notice I only used the default oekaki palette colors ).
Revisions team on f&c went so freaking hard. this still makes my eyes bug out !!!
Benji@repoghost.bsky.social · 10mo agodid a lot of crowd cleanup for the club scene in "the hearth of embers", the designs were fun to pick out- they were Tom Herpich and Michael DeForge designs. @charmainevee.bsky.social boarded these club scenes and provided crowd placement and dance cycles which are an enormous help for me.

Had a blast doing some visdev for potential Fionna club fits for “The Lion of Embers” (out today)! I was very partial to the 90s palm tree hairstyle and @charmainevee.bsky.social ran with it so beautifully in her boards.
