Some of my followers may have intuited where my third place is. I hope none of you thought "bluesky" Not even close. It's my friend's home & shop in Guelph. We have other friends over, we go on field trips, we share meals together, and we discuss world events while doing woodworking.

I want the build, not an infomercial with a saw in it. apparently this is radical now.

It’s too bad that YouTube has just become one big sponsorship video site. Makers, creativity, talent are no longer celebrated. Woodworking videos are basically tool reviews and relocation adventures are less adventure and mostly concierge services for sale. It’s a shame.

Indie hacker playbooks claim building in public is your distribution. My experience? It mostly attracts other founders, not users. I have had posts go viral with zero trials. Real growth came from solving specific problems in niche forums. Build in public for trust, not marketing.

Air Canada's chatbot made up a bereavement fare policy. customer booked it. airline argued in court "the chatbot is its own legal entity, not us." judge said no, you own what you deploy. the whole "AI failure" genre is mostly companies trying to disown the thing they put in front of customers.
