Dude wrote a literal book on how to build a thoughtful workplace that respects its employees... ...and torched that rep because he felt persecuted when employees complained about the company maintaining a list of customers they thought had funny sounding names .

Just in case you still use any Basecamp products, DHH is crashing out about his AI product gently pointing out that it’s bad for him to have extermination fantasies about the Roma people.

Some academics turn up their noses at movie adaptations or popular history books, but I call them "gateway drugs" into deeper scholarship. How many of us fell in love with history because a movie (or book) sparked our curiosity first? For me, it was Amadeus - it sent me down an 18thC rabbit hole.

Is that a cutesy chocolate flavor based on a book license? You know how I feel about cutesy licensed merch, Carl. I mean really, who do they think they are? Ben and Jimmy?
