I think the most aggravating thing about the era of touch screens from a design perspective is that many of them give you success feedback after a press even when nothing happens. Just why? Don't beep or show me an icon interaction and still make me press it 4 times.
I want to go to more events, but I have some amount of body dysmorphia and the last time I was at a furcon someone told me unprompted they thought my looks were mid and I haven't stopped thinking about it since.
I will buy the new game because I’m a Star Fox shill, but this is the 2nd remake of SF64 and the 5th telling of more or less the same story. I was really hoping for something new

Last repost: I haven't kept up but I knew Fred for years from about 2015 on (met Emmett and a ton of wonderful people through the original AFIS discord), and let me just say be wary of social media and its backward social economy that incentivizes pernicious behaviors from bad faith actors.
I’ve known Fred for pretty much my entire adult life, doing the odd voice for him and simply being lucky to call him one of my friends. Fred is not a Nazi, he is one of the chillest dudes I know without a hateful bone in his body, he and his AFIS crew are some of the finest and best people I know.

ANE was such a profoundly fun and weird con experience in the best sense of the term. Give me more chaos in my life, not less. Also, I think my 2010-era fursuit might be coming back into style? Not sure, but I got stopped more this con for interactions than in the whole last decade combined. Wild.
LineCon 2026. I’m sure it’s a logistical nightmare to manage this but man.
Also hope folks have a wonderful time at FC this weekend. I thoroughly considered it.

Requisite 2025 retrospective: difficult year with a lot of difficult firsts I never wanted, but I was also finally reminded of so much about who I am that I had forgotten. I do have agency and I can make right the parts of my life that seem written; they're not, I write them and I still have time.
