You can always test the limits of technology. You can still make impressive music tracks that somehow play on an NES or ZX Spectrum. You can still exceed the limits set by life to see what can be done and what's on the other side. Pick up that keyboard warrior

It is a shame to see the gaming industry crumble like this, but unfortunately maybe these bigger companies need to suffer to ground themselves again for the customer. I just want any unfortunate employees to be able to bounce back and find something that respects them better

It does seem a little more positive here and the amount of people now actively using it seem worthwhile. The reason I want to like social media is mainly for the....social aspect of it and talking with others about cool things we like and changes we want in the world.

AMOA 2001 was also the North American debut (and probably ONLY sighting) of Boong-Ga Boong-Ga and thankfully I got proof. I did not try it. Details in ALT caption.

Boong-Ga Boong-Ga (Korean: 붕가 붕가, Japanese: 開ウン！ケダモノ占い), sometimes advertised in English as Spank 'em, is an arcade game developed by a South Korean company, Taff System. It is the first arcade game to simulate kanchō—a popular prank in Japan and Korea where the victim is poked with two fingers in the anus unbeknownst to the victim. ... While an initial contract was made for distribution of 200 units in Japan, only 5 units were ever actually distributed in the country. [Source: Wikipedia] Interestingly, this version has a large "whack-a-mole" hammer attached to it. Was the game adapted for the US by making players spank the ass instead of poking it with your finger? Hmm.
