Caught up on For All Mankind and I'm still enjoying the show a lot! It's turned into The Mars Show and that's OK, but I would love if we could reintroduce some drama set on Earth (we get plenty FROM Earth). Going to begin Star City soon and I'm sure that'll fill some of that desire.

OK so I thought "The Griffin Incident" was one of the best episodes of Star Trek. Loved it. Event Horizon of Star Trek worked great on me. I also don't know if it's right in inflict gore to that degree on an audience who doesn't really have the conditioning for it. 😅

After stewing on the episode, no matter how I felt about the gore in the moment, I think this is one of the best episodes of Strange New Worlds we've had. It dug down to La'An's, Kirk's, and Spock's innermost feelings so damn well. And also goddamn Anson mount can do a dastardly evil grin.

Just found the Fellowship of the Ring. I fucking love Moon Guard.
Next TTRPG session, my party is going to be nudged toward a horse racing track, except they don't know that it's horse people who race (for the sport of it). I'd love to get some fantasy sounding racehorse name suggestions if you've got them! 4th wall breaking is fine!
The other night I got into a Warcraft housing tour where someone created a Jurassic Park exhibit in their WoW home. It was so incredibly done. I feel silly I didn't take more pics but they created so many dinosaurs and pens for them, and so many in-jokes to the movies, like a trashed outhouse.
Watched Hadestown in the theater and that was so good! Had a lot of fun. I knew nothing about it before going in. Also damn, Hades saying "I missed ya!" even had this lesbian going, "Damn." 😂
