I adored @capycastaway.com from Toronto's @kittencupstudio.bsky.social. The art style is delightful, the animal interactions are adorable and the wonderfully cozy vibes were much-needed. But above all else, it was genuinely lovely to see how much of Toronto and Canada as a whole is in the game. 🍁

Toronto-made Capy Castaway is a joyous tribute to wildlife and Canadiana

The cozy game amusingly draws inspiration from Toronto's infamous Bonnie and Clyde capybara escape, but its charms extend well beyond that.

Day 4 of posting a doodle every day until our game @capycastaway.com comes out on August 6th, and today we watched an episode of the 2017 Nirvana the Band the Show and reminisced in the nostalgia of the old streetcars and how I would have been a NEWLY GRADUATED UNIVERSITY STUDENT AT THIS TIME

Matt and Jay from Nirvana the Band the Show look on at Capy and Corvi, with Matt saying 'No, so, listen-- cayparas are super popular, so, what if we released a couple from the zoo, and then, we can find them, and be on the news, so when they see us we can say haha yeah we're this band, Nirvana the Band, and these capybaras just heard us practicing so they probably were attracted to that' and then, we can use that to book a show at The Rivoli' with Corvi saying 'I've never heard of you...'
